$6,700,000 Activity Center
Essential Expansion
Since moving into CHA's current building 30 years ago, we have maxed out usage of our current Gymnasium and Student Center for concurrent physical education classes, pushing Early Education and Lower School classes to run activities in our hallways during the winter and inclement weather.
After school Middle and Upper School teams compete for the same gym space, and practice and game times are compromised as teams are forced to shuttle off campus to local gyms or churches.
Our Train Up Campaign does a slam dunk on these obstacles through the construction of a beautiful Activity Center in the center of campus, with a main entrance from the glass hallway. The new facility will accommodate far more fans than our current gym. With telescoping seating and a retractable divider, the facility will be big enough to host two full court basketball games and four tournament-style volleyball games simultaneously.

$2,700,000 Lion Fund
A Strategy for Success
Every year, CHA raises significant funds to support the school’s annual budget, bridging the divide between tuition and space sharing income and the costs to provide a robust Christian education in excellent facilities.
This annual funding is critical in order to continue our commitment to student financial aid, as well as excellence in co-curriculars, academics, technology, athletics, and the arts.
A strong Lion Fund allows us to both advance and excel in these crucial areas. Spread out over the three years of the campaign, CHA would be able to put $900,000 per year toward these initiatives.
$2,600,000 Debt Elimination
A Boost toward the Finish Line
The Train Up Campaign will completely eliminate CHA’s current $2.6 million debt within the next three years. In March of 2025, the Board voted to nearly double-match the $1 million of Campaign funds dedicated toward the school’s debt. We believe so strongly in the impact of this that CHA is contributing $1.6 million of its own money, funded by both the school’s annual budget over the next three years and its healthy reserves.
The act of completely eradicating the school’s debt in three years will free up over $250,000 from our annual budget—funds that can instead be used for tangible needs such as increased teacher compensation, enhanced programs, or financial aid.
Consider this: putting $250,000 back in the school’s annual budget is the equivalent of interest earned from a $5 million endowment! CHA’s debt has been a burden on the school for decades. With your help, we can completely get rid of it once and for all.
