National Library Week

National Library Week, sponsored by the National Library Association, is celebrated every April across the country, and at CHA we celebrate too!

It has become a tradition that 7th grade students read stories to the younger grades that week. The 5th graders choose books that were some of their favorites as a young child and write a note about them. Those books are then displayed for others to enjoy.

There are other activities that vary from year to year.  It is a week in which we acknowledge the value and fun of our school and public libraries.
