Welcome!

A warm welcome to CHA and to the Middle School (Grades 5-8) at Christian Heritage Academy, on behalf of our faculty and staff!  We want our students to have a memorable experience here in the Middle School—one in which they acquire new skills and knowledge, experience personal growth, and mature in their relationship with Jesus Christ, all within a positive context of shared experiences and fellowship.

We work together as a school community to foster high standards and to offer our students the best possible school environment.  We want our students to grow in Christ each and every day to see examples of godly behavior and to be examples of godly behavior in all they do.

We look forward to getting to know our students and to encourage them to build a strong foundation in the basic skills—reading, writing, communications, comprehension, math problem solving, study skills, and critical thinking. Our school day includes language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, Bible, physical education, and various electives. Service to others is also part of what we do here at CHA—our Middle School students often lead in this capacity.  We also have inter-school sports throughout the year as well as extra-curricular activities. We want our students to be challenged and to develop the gifts the Lord has given them, so they might serve Him and be a role model to others. Our Christ-centered faculty prays daily that our students will be a blessing and we celebrate and rejoice in what God provides.

What we accomplish in the Middle School is certainly challenging, and it requires an honest commitment on everyone’s part as well as a fullness of heart for learning and for the Lord.  Parents are invited to partner with us in helping students understand, appreciate, and wrestle with the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social changes that occur during these years.  They can also appreciate that the changes are ushering in new abilities and new perspectives for their learning and living—young teens grow in their ability to seek things with clarity, understanding, and responsibility.

Let us be good stewards of what God has given to us. Let us show proper respect and love for our God, our neighbors, and ourselves. Let us strengthen and honor what God calls us to be.

We look forward to a community of goodness and fellowship in our Savior Jesus Christ.

In His Service,

Peggy J. Hoskin, Ed.D.
