In 1982 five families prayed, and in 1984 Christian Heritage Academy was established and opened its doors with 61 students.  Based on comments made during last year's 25th Anniversary celebrations, it is clear that CHA has developed above and beyond these founding families’ expectations.  There has been growth, new staff, new programs, and new facilities.  In 2010 the trend of growth, new staff, new programs, and new facilities will continue and most importantly so will the mission “…to equip children to be lifetime followers of Jesus Christ.”  God’s faithfulness to Christian Heritage Academy over the past 25 years has been amazing.  He has promoted, and protected, us is so many ways; it is reassuring to know that God has His hand upon CHA, and will continue to work His glory through us as we continue to provide “an exemplary education based on biblical values for children of Christian families” in the Chicagoland area. Now that we have established our core initiatives for enhancing the Pre-K through 8th grade program, establishing a professional development plan for all faculty and staff, opening a permanent satellite campus at Park Community Church in Chicago, and opening a college preparatory high school, we eagerly and confidently look forward to the next 25 years and the work the Lord will be doing.      Christian Heritage Academy is a non-denominational, independent school that cannot accept any local, state or federal funds that would limit out faith-based programming.  As we faithfully move forward with our expansion plans, I would ask first and foremost that you pray for us.  Please ask for the Lord’s blessing on us and that He would use CHA mightily in continuing to build His Kingdom here on earth.   Thank you for taking your time to inquire about CHA and for praying for us.  Should you wish to partner with us and our mission of “…equipping lifetime followers of Jesus Christ,” with your time, talent, or treasure please contact me at (847) 446-5252 or via e-mail.   In Him,   William A.
