At Christian Heritage Academy, we recognize the importance and challenges of these years for our children. Students are encouraged to develop the highest possible standards and apply them to their own lives. As life-long learners, they are challenged to question and to seek biblical answers as they make choices that reflect the values taught in Scriptures. Although we do not shelter them, we believe in guiding students through the social, academic, physical or spiritual struggles they may face during this time in their lives. This means praying with them, asking them to take risks for the Lord, expecting them to make good decisions (and giving them appropriate boundaries when they do not), and helping them learn who they are in Christ. The comprehensive academic program includes a consistently fresh curriculum under constant review. We offer electives that are exciting and unique in a middle school setting, as well as a variety of performance and production experiences in the arts, unmatched at this level. We focus on the process as well as the product in all areas of the curriculum. We help students learn what they need to know for high school in order to compete, to excel, and to express themselves effectively. |
